October of 2016 Shampoo hosted a fashion show to celebrate 10 fabulous years of business. Taking place at the Hudson Public Market, the show was a huge success, raising over $7,000 for the Bridges for Women Society. Bridges is an amazing organization that does so much to support women in our community, and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with them to create this event. Guests were treated to snacks and drinks, a fashion show, dancing, and more drinks. We can’t wait until our next party!
We could not have thrown such a wonderful runway show without our fabulous models, the amazing women of Elate Cosmetics and the stores that supplied clothing for us. Thank you Citizen Clothing, Leka Clothing, Meraki, Still Life For Him & For Her, Not Just Pretty Modern Organic Clothing, and Sarah Beverly Runnalls. Thank you to Ruth & Dean for your amazing sweet treats, Vancouver Island Brewery, Karyn Stewart and bartenders Larry, Anna and Morgan for keeping drinks flowing. Jeff Lingwood got us dancing and Tom Davidson was a star on the mic as our MC. La Biosthetique, Bumble and bumble and West Coast Beauty contributed so generously to our gift bags and door prizes, as did The Littlest Fry whose pop up shop was a hit. Thank you to the Art Salad for the design of our event invitations, posters and collateral, Victoria Public Market at the Hudson and Pedersen’s Rentals for making our venue spectacular.
