The Shampoo team has grown over the years to include so many wonderful and unique stylists. We are so happy that these talented individuals chose Shampoo as their hair home. Their eclectic passions and talents make Shampoo the fun, energetic place that it is.

Scarlet
Scarlet is a recent Blanche Macdonald graduate who loves alternative, fashion-forward haircuts just as much as she loves the classics. Long dramatic layers, shags, and bobs are some of Scarlets favourites.
Nya
Nya is a talented and hardworking up-and-coming stylist working her way through our continuing education program. Book with Nya for your next haircut. Long, short, and absolutely anything in between.
Holly
Holly is a recent graduate of the VIU hairstylist training and currently attending our continuing education program. She is excited to meet you for long layered haircuts, styling appointments and bright, natural highlights.
Ryan
Driven by the challenge of understanding their own curls, Ryan has been cutting hair for the better part of a decade and formalized their career in Montreal in 2022. Ryan specializes in curly/textured cuts, mullets, shags, and vivid colours.
Rhea
Working her way through our continuing education program, Rhea is a personable and involved soon-to-be Shampoo stylist.
Fairfield Stylists

Lindsay
When Lindsay isn't out for a hike, or sipping a cocktail on the patio, she's probably behind the chair. Lindsay loves working with her clients to create rich, dimensional brunettes, seamless grey coverage, bright blondes, and long, frizz-free styles utilizing extensions and smoothing treatments.
Zephyr
Zephyr is a home grown Victorian who packed up and took off to Montreal for hair school. While there she soaked up the style, work experience, and great food. Zephyr made her way back to Victoria and found her hair home at Shampoo. We love her analytical eye for detail and dreamy baby blondes.
Georgia
Georgia came to Shampoo with a passion for learning and a drive to become a stylist and learn all there is to know, from the ground up! Georgia is a blonde specialist. She loves highlights, and long haircuts. Book in with our perfectionist Georgia.
Fiona
Fiona graduated in 2023 from The Academy of Excellence. She has a natural talent for cutting and an analytical eye for colour. Fiona has a passion for sustainability. Ask her about the best thrift shops in town!
Amy
Amy has built a strong foundation of technical knowledge on which to build creative, freeform cuts and out-of-this-world colours. In her free time, Amy loves swimming, knitting and has a passion for editorial styling and everything creative & DIY.
Khadija

An incredible cutting specialist, Khadija thrives working with natural textures. Their kind and thoughtful approach will put you at ease, and bring out the beautiful curls you never knew you had.
Mike

You'll feel connected to Mike the moment you sit down! Over a decade working behind the chair has developed Mikes technical skills, and their special touch for a thorough consultation. Book with Mike for creative colours, highlights, and long haircuts.
Andrew
Your hair expert with a plan! Dreaming of a breathtaking balayage, seamless grey blending or a daring, unconventional cut? Andrew can bring your goals to life. Andrew finished his training at Blanche Macdonald Academy in Vancouver in 2018, and has since attended Bumble and Bumble University and La Biosthetiques Master Colourist program.
Diane
Diane brings years of experience to her loyal clients. Next time you’re in, ask what cookbook is currently on her table. Diane completed her training with Aveda in 1996, and has spent the years since growing her knowledge of cut and colour techniques at many different institutes.

Bev loves coming to work in our beautiful Fairfield neighbourhood, where she creates a relaxed atmosphere to connect with her clients. She has been a stylist in Victoria since 1999.
There's nothing she can't do, buuuut - short, creative cuts are really what she loves to do.
Kate - Colour Master
At one of Bumble and bumble’s courses in New York, Kate learned the importance of listening, trusting your instincts, and being open to learning from others. This is the energy she brings to each appointment. Kate loves a full head of highlights or balayage and is so excited to make your blonde dreams come true!
Debbie - Fine Hair Fanatic
Since starting her career in 1996, mentorship and extensive training in Toronto, Montreal, and New York, has honed Debbie's style to perfection.
Debbie specializes in cuts, colour, styling and care for fine or thinning hair. Her gentle touch and expansive knowledge on scalp health will help ease your mind and bring new life to fine hair. Debbie looks forward to helping you bring new life to your naturally delicate locks through treatments and styling.
Meg - Hair cuts all day
Meg has grown from being one of our assistants to being a fabulous talent behind the chair. Ask her about how to plan the perfect tea party! Meg is a master colourist with La Biosthetique and mentor for our up-and-coming apprentices.
Meg is an authority on all things cutting. From short and sweet, to long and luscious, and everything in between. Meg utilizes all the tools in her tool box
Lynn - Best in Blondes
Lynn has been a stylist since 2012. We love the fun attitude, eye for perfection, and professionalism she brings to the salon. Lynn focuses primarily on colour and loves to create bright, dimensional blondes and rich brunettes.
Shampoo Educators
Lily - Director of Education
Lily joined the team in 2010. She is dedicated to seeking new education to bring back to clients and the team as our Lead educator.
Her goal as a stylist is to make clients feel heard and cared for during a service, with an emphasis on creating classic styles that have a modern attitude.
She loves to craft looks that bring styling, cutting and colour in harmony for maximum wearability and minimal styling.
Her focus is on creating custom, hand-painted balayage services that make you feel like you've just spent a summer in the sun or the perfect lived-in style that can be recreated at home.
Marty
With 30+ years of experience in hair and fashion, this talented and well-rounded stylist offers high-style classics for a discerning clientele of the colour-conscious guests. Marty is a scalp-health advocate, curl enthusiast, razor master, and specializes in lived-in colour & clean mens grooming.
Danielle
Danielle is an experienced stylist that loves to create dimensional, natural looking colours, and play with etherial pastels and vivid tones. Short cuts and shaggy styles are some of Danielles favourite cuts. A lifelong student of hair (and mycology) Danielle is passionate about the complex and individual nature of each clients head of hair. It's not just about how the hair is cut, but why. Danielle works at our Fairfield location on Wednesdays only.
Laurie
Laurie has been a stylist since 1995 and co-founded Shampoo in 2006. Her wealth of experience and knowledge of our industry are instrumental in Shampoo becoming the place it is today. Laurie has so much love for the space she helped create. The decor, the bright colours, and plants all make her excited to come to work. This love is apparent — her coworkers and clients have become some of her best friends!
