What's included in my service?
All of our services include a wash and blow-out or style. Because every service deserves a full salon experience.
If your hair requires a little extra something that isn't included in your service, such as a treatment, additional toning technique, or other add-on, we'll always make a professional recommendation and keep you in the loop every step of the way. When booking online, use our menu of available services, and pop-up menu of add-ons to customize your ideal service.

Where should I park?
Street parking is available at both Shampoo locations.
Watch out for a residential parking zone across the street from our Fairfield Location on May street. You may be ticketed for parking in residential parking-only areas.
Our Downtown front desk team is happy to help you top up your street parking for long appointments, but we suggest utilizing one of the nearby parkades for peace of mind. There is a parkade right around the corner on Yates street.
How do I know what colour service to book?
You might not! Colour terms can be confusing if you're not a stylist (& sometimes even if you are...)
When in doubt, book a longer appointment. Especially for your first visit. Or start with a consultation! You can book a 15 minute, complimentary consultation to discuss any of our services to make a plan of action.
If you'd like to inquire with us directly, send us some of your inspo photos and we can point you in the right direction. Our front desk is just an email or phone call away.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Of course! We appreciate 24 hours notice to make any changes to your booking. You can call or email the salon, or login to our online booking portal to adjust your appointment.
We're pretty flexible when the unexpected comes up. Sickness, family emergencies - we get it. It happens to us too! But since our stylists work on commission, an unexpected gap can be quite affecting. 24 hours notice gives us time to contact waitlisted appointments and fill the gap.
Less than 24 hours notice of appointment change or cancellation may result in a cancellation fee, or deposit required to book again.
What happens if I don't love my hair?
We don’t want that! Touch-ups and tweaks are always possible. We want you to love your hair and feel great after your visit.
Don’t wait to get in touch. If there is something you aren’t in love with, we want to be able to fix it right away before it becomes a bigger problem or grows out too much. Usually within two weeks is ideal for any adjustments. Beyond that, your colour/cut may have started to fade and grow out, and we may end up having a bigger job on our hands
Talk to me about pricing
Our pricing model puts emphasis on pricing tailored to your individual needs, the length of time your appointment is booked for, and the amount of hair colour that is used for you (if applicable).
We have a strong desire to be as transparent as possible in the way we charge for our services, and our desire to move forward to a more gender-neutral model. This means more options available so we can tailor your service and the charge to you, instead of trying to fit each service into only two categories.
When it comes to colour services, we charge only for the product that is actually used during your service (measured by the gram). We think this is the fairest way to charge for services rendered, and will allow our stylists to offer services that are completely customized to your needs and your budget.
Online Booking
I know I have an appointment... but it's not showing up on my account. Help!
One of the fun quirks of our booking system! Once you log in, select your chosen location, as if you were about to book another appointment. At that point, you can navigate to your account, and future appointments at that location will be visible. From there you can cancel, reschedule, or otherwise adjust your appointments.
It's my first visit, can I book online?
Absolutely! Most of our services are bookable online. Please read descriptions carefully, leave us some notes, and when in doubt, give us a shout.
I don't see the service I normally get, or the stylist I normally see, listed online.
For many reasons, your stylist may be unavailable at certain times. They might be away or fully booked. The service that you typically get may only be bookable through our front desk. If online booking is your preference, we are also available through email and we can help you virtually!
Another note about pricing
Prices for appointments booked online are an estimate of the starting price only. Haircuts are pretty predictable, but colour prices can vary!
Colour prices displayed online do not include "product", ie - the actual bleach or colour product used on your head. Which we charge by the gram, and only for exactly what was needed. Product charge can range from $20-$75+.
Always start with a consultation, an email, or call, if you have a specific budget in mind. Don't be afraid to tell your stylist how much you want to spend! We want to work with you to create the hair of your dreams, at every price point.
Online Shopping
When can I expect my local delivery?
Our intrepid delivery drivers (Dylan and Sara) hit the road Tuesdays and Thursdays. Let us know in your order notes if you have a specific time you'd like to accept delivery on one of those days.
I've selected in-store pick up, when can I expect my order to be ready?
As soon as we have received your order, we will put it together for you and send a notification that it is ready for pick up. This usually takes just an hour or two during work hours.
Please come to the Fairfield salon (1272 May street) during open hours to pick up your order. If you'd prefer pick up at our Downtown shop, leave a note at check out so we can arrange that for you.
I can't find the product I need
Don't fret! Your item might be temporarily backordered, or otherwise unavailable. Contact the front desk to chat about mean-time fill-ins, replacements for discontinued products, or special orders.
We are always happy to source specific products just for you, just get in touch!
Shipping
What are your delivery times?
Orders outside of our local delivery area are shipped usually within 48 hours using Canada post. Canada Post Standard delivery is 2-7 days. Aerosols (hairsprays) must be transported via ground shipping, and so can take a couple of extra days.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order. Shipping is free on orders $200+ for Canadian domestic orders.
Can you provide worldwide shipping?
Unfortunately not, we only ship within Canada.
Refunds & Returns
Refund & Exchange Policy
We love the brands we carry and want you to enjoy the products you bring home as much as we do. Retail products purchased at either Shampoo location, or online, are eligible for full refund if unused and unopened within 14 days.
Products that were purchased more than 14 days ago (but no longer than 30 days ago), or have been used, are eligible for exchange or store credit.
Hair accessories and jewelry are available for exchange or retail credit only within 14 days.

Damages & Faulty Packaging
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if there are any issues with your order. If any goods are damaged, or if you received anything incorrectly, we are happy to make it right.
Discounted & Excluded Items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Sale items can be exchanged within 14 days of purchase, with credit extended for the original price of purchase to be applied to regular priced merchandise.
Piercing jewelry (earrings) cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.
